Mario has had 2 weekends catching up with his cousins (and that means I got to catch up with my sisters!).Firstly we travelled up to stay with Aunty Ange, Uncle Matt, Lucas and Adrian. We played in the park and went to the markets and stocked up on all sorts of exciting things. Mario then went to Ellas 4th birthday party where he ate plenty of lollies and cake and all the important foods that kids love at parties. From there is was a visit to Aunty M, Uncle Mike, Jordan and Mikayla and a visit to the Berowra woodchop. Exhausting but so much fun.
This weekend just gone was a visit from Aunty M, Uncle Mike, Jordan and Mikayla. They had a day at the snow so our place was the perfect spot to travel from. The kids had a ball together and Mario just loved having Jordie sleep all night in his room. We had a fun day at the nature park on Saturday and the kids used up all their energy with their running and climbing and swinging about. The flying fox was a huge hit. Good thing we had the gumboots with us as there was lots of splashing and playing in the water.Have to say, there is nothing like family and there is nothing so great as seeing cousins playing together and everyone just getting on so well. I really love these special times and I hope that when Mario is all grown up he remembers these days and will always make family number 1.

Karen-what a fun few days! I must ask, What IS a Flying fox??!! Do we have those in America? We received your generous package today for the boys' birthdays. How wonderful you are to remember those dates and get things out on time. I'm afraid I'm terrible in that regard and have missed Mario's every year. I think I'd forget my anniversary if it wasn't the same week as Tim's birthday. But which one is which??? Just Joking! Thank you again, and I'll let you know how the boys love it when they open them on their birthday. I've misplaced your personal email, so if you think to email me, I can send an email to you there. Have a great week and thanks again for your kindness toward us!

the flying fox is great fun - it is a wire connected between 2 poles with one end higher than the other or you can do it from a top of a hill to the bottom with a swing sort of thing that hangs from it and you sit on, hang on and let gravity do its trick. At the end there is a spring so that you dont catapault off but bounce or swing back and forth. The one at this park is just for kids (must admit the big kids had a turn too) and it just makes everyone giggle and do it again and again and again. I'll send an email Tiffany and pleased the parcel arrived but if it wasnt for my electronic diary bipping at me some things would never happen. I need reminding.
